Paracetamol Effects !!!!!

Paracetamol, Reason for any Organization to brew System Cancer!

Professionally we all know what is means by the term "quick fixer" approach.

Rationally trying to understand the characteristics of Paracetamol, it is meant to help reduce the rising body temperature, irrespective of whether it is a fever that is caused due to malaria, viral infection, injury, cold or whatever other medical conditions, it is just meant to instantly control the fever.

And we more than often see these Paracetamol approaches in our daily professional life.

Not all the complications or concerns in our daily professional dealings may require rigorous analysis & investment time & resources to put lasting solution to them, as there can be many that may only need quick fixing but then it is equally important to understand when one of them will truly needs a quick fixing & later on any permanent resolutions can be implemented. Underlying situations matter the most.

What happens to any disease when it is not being diagnosed & treated appropriately & is only being treated with a paracetamol, there are all chances of the disease to worsen the condition of the patient.
Likewise when some of the complications or concerns in any given business operations are not given the right treatment, it may in a long run turn into a cancer for that very organization.
Though at time it is very much possible that the leadership may already acquired a very strong cancer antidote & they are not worried about any kind of cancer that may spread due to persistent quick fixing practices & leaving the complications & concerns under the band-aids, the question that arises is that is it really worth allowing brewing of any kind of an cancer in the system just because it is assumed that the antidote will do its job?

During some of my training, or discussions I do give this very example with a question,
"For those who have been frequent flyers, how many times have they experienced that a pilot had to get out the window midair & carry out necessary breakdown maintenance of the aero plane?"
Obviously it is not possible to have experienced any such thing, and this gives us two different perspectives, one that if it is very much possible for that very much of a complex engineering master piece to function error free for months & years, of course with proper care & maintenance, then why on earth we see & experience much lower categories of products failing in its service & functionality. Two if machines can be made & perfected to function error free, why cannot every Organization make & perfect their systems & processes to function error free?
The answer to these two question is because they are both treated with Paracetamol, the products that are poorly engineered & manufactured are some of the cheapest quick fix solutions & hence they cannot serve its purpose for long, while when for the Organizations when any given problem is addressed for that very time & moment while the underlying reasons are not being analyzed, understood & given resolutions they keep bringing failures from multiple directions.

When a pigeon is sitting in the balcony & a cat approaches, the pigeon will close its eyes, as it does not believe what it is seeing, that the cat does not exist, it is merely an illusion, & obviously the cat may have a wonderful meal. Problems do exist in Organizations & that they do need time & attention, closing eyes or ignoring them may not make them go away, or applying some interim measures cannot leave the Organization in an healthy state.

There are various time tested methodologies that help to work with different situations & scenarios.
Like Five Whys, SWOT, Root Cause Analysis, Six Hats Thinking, Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking, Brainstorming & so on.
A little more time may be required to pick the right methodology than it may take to apply the paracetamol fixes, but it can definitely help prevent Organizations from remaining operational with multiple lingering problems & unresolved issues, that eventually may result into irreversible damages & no antidote may work to get back the business on the track.

Developed in post-war Japan, 5S became the secret sauce behind Toyota's meteoric rise in quality,  efficiency, and global competitiveness. ...

And when we closely look into these various aspects of individual interactions we are made to understand that self evaluation is the key to every perceptional array.  Popularly it claims that whenever things aren't going well with someone they must look within what they are lacking or not being able to accept, adapt & change. Yes one may have to run a self check but not before you have verified & understand the following 4 tactics of people: A) Avoidance  :  People generally avoid those around them that they are intimidated with, not literally, but yet their vision, thinking & reasoning shatters their perceptions & even if they like it or not those views presented are always hard to ...
